This is just a quick highlight of my facebook pics, but here is a tribute to my last days of Hawaii.
This is one of my classes at the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind. It was so hard to leave them!

Josh and I visited the west side of the island. It was interesting and beautiful.

Josh caught some sweet waves on the boogie board at Sunset Beach.

As did Peter Bell...

And Jen Bell...

And me.

At Pearl Harbor there were WWII veterans there. I got to meet them and shake their hands! It was really great.

And we got to go to the USS Arizona Memorial. It was a touching and difficult experience. I'll never forget what happened on that day and those who lost their lives serving our country.

The Laie Temple was closed for renovations but opened for the open house while we were there. We got to invite some friends and go through it. It was a marvelous experience.

Jenn Blohm, Me, Josh, Robby, Jen Bell's parents, Jen Bell, and Peter Bell.

It was sad to leave, but at the same time, Hawaii isn't a place we would like to live and in many ways we were ready to head back to the mainland. Florida is great and after Christmas break we head to Texas to finish out the year. :)
